MORE ZOO LAYOUTS

So here are a couple more layouts from our trip to the zoo last year.   I had a wonderful time with my nieces and siblings.  We don't get together too often and when we do, it is so special.  All of the papers are from my stash.  I love ribbons and lace and added some from my stash as well.

This first layout could definitely use a little more embellishing.....

The titles on these pages were made with the Cricut.

WELCOME BACK!!

Oh, I have really been away too long.  But this year I am committed to sharing my work with you for your inspiration and admiration.....hopefully.  So you may ask where have I been?  Unfortunately my job, which provides me with the ability to scrap to my heart's desire and travel to scrapping events, has been very busy of late.  I have found new friends who bring joy to my life and fill my heart with blessings at the Paper Niche in Plantation, Florida.

So today's post, aside from reconnecting with my blog friends, is to show you one of my latest projects.  This is a layout of a trip to the local zoo.  I made the palm tree with a "leather" ribbon which I scrunched to give it texture.  The paper is part of my old stock and I don't remember the manufacturer.  The palm leaves were fussy cut from patterned paper and layered and stickled.  I really like the way the stickles make the leaves stand out.
