Have been away too long.....

My goodness, I have been gone for way too long.  My stepson came to live with us in November and my life is now completely changed.  He is a wonderful 12 year old but he is a handful....I guess all kids are.

His brother got married and they have a beautiful little girl ... Serenity Rose.  They loved the wedding album and I thought I was going to get a chance to make one for the baby but it is not looking that way.

We are going on a cruise during Spring Break and Eric is going to Hawaii with his mom to see the baby.  I have done some scrapping but really very minimal.  I am hopeful that now that we have our schedule down, I can be more productive.   I did, however, make the cutest luggage tags....maybe I will get to post them before we leave....

CRICUT WOODLAND CART

Oh, how exciting.  Provo Craft is giving away 100 cartridges.  How great is that.   Their 100th cartridge - Winter Woodland is beautiful and will certainly help to make some wonderful projects.  I can't wait to get one!.  Here is the link:

Butterfly Kisses

Here is another page for my stepson's wedding album. Amanda's dad passed away about 3 months ago and I know it will be difficult for her so I wanted to create a special page for her and her dad. Perhaps she can put her favorite picture of the two of them here.

Paper Anna Griffith; Making Memories - Willow Simple; EK Success - Celebration Sponge and other misc. Bazzill paper

Primas, brads and lots of Stickles.

The Groom

I wanted a masculine page for him and I think despite the swirls, I achieved my goal.  The paper is from a Glitter Stack, the tux and frames are Bazzill - blackbird and tiara and the tux was cut from the wedding cart.  The swirls are from Home Accents.

The Bride

Oh, I think this layout is so elegant.  The paper is from DCWV - I think it was a black and white paper stack - the design is All Dressed Up - Black Wallflower - Glitter; the mat is Bazzil, String of Pearls and the wedding cart for the dress.  I used pop dots for the dress and layered the shadow for extra dimension.

Say Yes

This is the "Engagement" page.  paper - MBI stack; Ashlyn's Alph for the font; George for the flowers and the chipboard is Fancy Pants - SOHO Swirls which were embossed in brown.
The Strings to my Heart pages were done with AM Craft paper - Tiara; the font is Stone Script; a square punch and a heart puch which was run thru the cuttlebut and satin ribbon.

WEDDING ALBUM

This is the first page to their album - the wedding has a Cinderella theme and I thought this was appropriate. The paper is DCWV Once Upon a Time paper stack, the swirls are JOS and the font is Stone Script.

My stepson is getting married in several weeks and I am making a wedding album for the young couple. I have so enjoyed making this album. I really hope they enjoy it.
