NEW BABY BOOK

I made this baby book for a friend whose best friend jus had a baby...I love making baby books and have made 6 or 7 - all but one for girls....  This is a rather simple book that goes from birth through the first birthday.  I know the new mom is starting to scrap and with a new baby, having the pages already made is a great help.

Paper - various loose stock and not from any particular paper stack.
Embellishments, stamps and punchs are from K & CO, Martha Stewart, and others
Cricut carts used: Storybook (one of my favorites), Life's a Beach, A Child's Year, Noel, Mother's Day
Lace and ribbons are varied - just stuff I had.

I did not put titles on alot of pages because I want her to customize the album with the photos.

This is the first page - Why God Made Little Girls....I just love this poem...

I used the MS punch around the page and printed the poem on vellum.  I then used a punch on the edges, inked it lightly to make it pop and added 2 little bows.

This is a page to put photos of grandparents or parents to be
anxiously awaitig the baby's arrival.

This page is intended for the parents - "the first time I saw your face"
is just so appropriate...

This is a page for the grandparents - Abuelos in spanish.

This is the not so traditional going home page with the baby stats on the left.
The made is from Storybook and then I cut the frame out
of vellum and printed the baby's stats.

I love this flower - it is multiple primas that were inked and Stikled.

This is a Thanksgiving page.

Santa is from the Noel cartridge.  I used Stickles on his beard and robes -
you can't see it too well, but it looks great.

I love winter pages - perhaps because we live in South Florida and we do not
have "Winter" per se.  The snowmen are actually stickers that I adhered to
cardstock, cut and then Stickled.

Sweet and sassy Valentine's Day.

Baby's baptism.  I just love silver and the frosted grey.  The ribbon I made
from 2 ribbon - the sheer with a silver satin over it.  The embellishments
I think are Jolies.

This could be a Mother's Day page.

and this is the Father's Day.  I love this page.  The animals were actually part
of a 12x12 page and I cut them out, matted them and used foam dots.

You can't have summer wihout a day at the beach.  This is from
Life's a Beach.  I used a product for the sand that resembles sand in glue.
I think I may make some of my own next time ith glossy accents or Elmer's.
I also used stickles to resemble sand.

a not-so-scary Halloween.

Happy Birthday.

and here is the last page.
